Appetitive Conditioning

A form of classical conditioning in which the neutral stimulus is associated with a rewarding unconditioned stimulus (American Psychological Association, 2018; Martin-Soelch et al., 2007). Food is naturally rewarding and sought after, thus associating the sound of a bell with food is an example of Appetitive Conditioning.
